Poker is known to be a five-card vying game played with a standard deck of playing cards. Ex: A-A-A-8-8
Flush - consisting of cards of the same suit regardless of the sequence.

Straight - consisting of five cards in sequence regardless of the suit.
Ex: 2-3-4-5-6
Three-of-a-kind - consisting of three cards of the same rank.
Ex: 10-10-10-3-6
Two Pair - as Q-Q-J-J-7
Pair - as K-K-7-5-2
High Card - no combination of cards but whoever have the highest card wins
Now let's proceed to the Poker game, each player will be dealt a pair of cards or Preflop, this is the part where the players have to examine their cards and decide whether to bet or drop out of the round.
Check is not an available option for the players in the 1st round, the options available are Bet, Call, Raise or Fold in order for the game to proceed. Each player must bet the Big Blind or the lowest bet possible. After the 1st round the dealer will unveil the first three cards or the Flop.
In this round, each player his eyes close on his cards and try to create a favorable hand with the flop, then starts the second round of betting from the player seated to the left of the dealer, this time each player has the option to Call or Raise or Check or even Fold.
Then the third round starts, the dealer will reveal the fourth card also known as the Turn, this time each player has a total of six cards, after the Turn is revealed another round of betting will begin.
The fifth card or the River will be revealed in the fourth round, this is the most interesting stage where the players have to fold and the rest will play against each other, after the River is revealed the final round of betting will take place.
The Showdown, this is the stage where only the players left has to reveal each of their hand, and the best hand wins the pot.
